Agence Nationale d’Appui au Développement Rural (ANADER)
The National Agency for Support to Rural Development (ANADER) was created on September 29th, 1993 thanks to the implementation of the National Program of Support to Agricultural Services (PNASA) resulting from the Structural Adjustment Program (PAS ) led by the State of Côte d'Ivoire with funding from the World Bank.
Legal status, shareholding and corporate purpose A
mixed economy company of a particular type when it was set up with 90.3% stake of the State of Côte d'Ivoire with a Capital of 500 Million FCFA, ANADER has since April 1998 become a State-owned Limited Company (SA) with a minority stake in the capital stock (35%), the rest being divided between the professional farming families (33%) and the private sector (32%).
The purpose of ANADER is to provide agricultural advice and extension in Côte d'Ivoire.
Mission
The mission of ANADER is "to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of the rural world through the professionalization of farmers and professional agricultural organizations by designing and implementing appropriate tools and approaches, adapted programs to ensure sustainable and controlled development ".
