Created by Law No. 2019/014 of July 19, 2019, the Cameroon Human Rights Commission (CDHC), referred to as the “Commission”, is the Cameroonian institution in charge of the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights. man , as well as the Prevention of Torture.

Their mission

The commission's mission is to promote and protect human rights as well as prevent torture in all places of deprivation of liberty. As such, it can request from any administration a study or report on any question which falls within its competence and carry out studies on human rights for the benefit of administrations which request them.

Their vision

Make the Cameroon Human Rights Commission the reference structure for human rights in the very competitive context of the human rights movement in Cameroon.
