Created on June 29, 1964, the National Institute of Professional Preparation (INPP) was born the day after the accession of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to independence in order to help the national industry to solve the problems posed by the massive departure of foreign technicians and managers.
The National Institute of Professional Preparation (INPP), created by Ordinance-Law No. 206 of 29 June 1964, is transformed into a public institution of a technical and social nature with legal personality and administrative and financial autonomy in 2009. It is under the supervision of the Ministry of Employment, Labor and Social Welfare.
The National Institute of Professional Preparation (INPP) has for social purpose the professional qualification of the active population of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Headquartered in Kinshasa on the 6th Industrial Street in the municipality of Limete, the National Institute of Professional Preparation is not a training center, but rather a public institution having within it several training centers scattered throughout the country.
