About

The National Office for Pharmaceutical and Chemical Products (ONPPC) was created by Law No. 62-36 of September 18, 1962 with an exclusive monopoly on the import of pharmaceutical products.

The Office was restructured by Ordinance N ° 99-046 of October 26, 1999 creating a Public Industrial and Industrial Establishment GRD ( Wholesale Distributor Retailer ) called " National Office of Pharmaceutical and Chemical Products (ONPPC)  ".

This restructuring gave birth to three (3) distinct entities which are:

  •    The e LANSPEX EPA (National Public Health Laboratory and Expertise).
  •   a SONIPHAR SA (Nigerian Pharmaceutical Industries Company).
  •    ONPPC EPIC : Wholesaler-Distributor-Retailer.

 VISION                         

The ONPPC is a national and regional reference office for the supply and distribution of quality pharmaceutical and chemical products.       

MISSION 

The mission of the ONPPC is to contribute to the implementation of the national pharmaceutical policy with regard to the supply of pharmaceutical products.     

Goal

The objective set by the ONPPC is to contribute to ensuring the permanent availability of quality medicines, vaccines, consumables, food and therapeutic inputs, reagents, blood and derivatives at an affordable cost for the population.
