To promote the development of a better social protection system, as well as to meet the needs of the strategy, policies and social protection activities, the Royal Government has established the " National Council for Social Protection ". This council acts as the staff of the Royal Government in coordinating and directing the work of formulating social protection strategies and policies.
To ensure effective multi-sectoral coordination tasks, the National Council for Social Protection was formed with the participation of dignitaries from all relevant government ministries and agencies, including the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Veterans Affairs. And Youth Rehabilitation, Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, Council for Agricultural and Rural Development, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Planning, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Public Function .
The National Council for Social Protection has a General Secretariat in charge of day-to-day operations, called the "General Secretariat of the National Council for Social Protection", which was established under the Ministry of Economy and Finance in accordance with Sub-Decree No. 03. Dated January 8, 2018 on the establishment of the Executive Committee and the General Secretariat of the National Council for Social Protection.
