The National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as Belstat) is a republican government authority in the field of state statistics which pursues the state policy in the field of state statistics and exercises regulation and administration as well as coordination of activities of other government agencies and other organisations in this field.

Belstat is subordinated directly to the President of the Republic of Belarus.
