On December 20, 1989, more than 100,000 primary school students visit the doors to sell PostcodeLoten for charity. In total they collect 300,000 authorizations of 10 guilders. The entire proceeds from this very first draw of the Postcode Loterij go to the VluchtelingenWerk foundation. The rest is history.
