Nileply owns over 15,000 acres plantation in Nakasongola and Kamuli. The plantation in Nakasongola is the company’s largest with 10,000 acres while the plantation in Kamuli is 5,000 acres. Nile Plywoods grows an additional 700 hectares per year.. The company produces plywood, block boards, flush doors, particle boards and creosate and CCA treated electricity transmission polls.

Nile Plywoods Limited has won the Presidential Transformer award in 2006. Furthermore, Nileply has won the “Exporter of the Year Award” in the Gold category for two years (2010 and 2011) running and five awards in the silver category in the last five years preceding the Gold awards from the Uganda Exports Promotions Board (UEPB). The company’s products are certified by UNBS.

Quality Control Process

The Company is renowned for manufacturing quality products that determine customer's faith when purchasing. This is achieved through stringent quality standards and procedures that are in place. It begins from stringent checks in their nurseries, to meticulous attention given to quality control at various stages of production to ensure the set parameters are met. The final product goes through separate quality control checks before deployment.
