And it appears to be providing results.In a recent annual survey of its graduates, we found that 86% are employed, most in their field of choice, with close to 90% of those employed living and working in Nova Scotia.
Since their beginning in 2000, they’ve grown in their capacity and scope. They are now a multi-million dollar research operation that responds to the needs of industry and the community. In 2015 and 2016, they were added to the list of Canada’s top 50 research colleges. In addition to their four main areas of research, Applied Research has access to faculty and student expertise from over 120 programs offered by the college including business, culinary, natural resources and more.
