The Corporation, Our House, is formed by a team of active and energetic people working with homeless people and seeks to integrate the entire society in its work.
Our House is defined as an instance of meeting people in street situations, volunteers and society in general, in order to achieve social integration and thus, together, go from prejudice to trust.
"They work to overcome the social exclusion produced by the street situation, through the true encounter between people, the recovery of links and access to basic social guarantees."
"They want a country that goes from prejudice to trust."
Warmth: Our House has been conceived as a place where links are generated and the meeting is enjoyed. Where the beauty of life and sorrows are shared. A place to communicate, feel, laugh, listen, be and accompany.
Overcoming: The Corporation is not only a meeting place, but also a place of change. A context of fraternal encounter drives us to overcome themselves ... To the desire to be more, to do, to grow, to think. The more these actions are enhanced, the more the exclusion situation decreases.
Fellowship: Their ultimate sense is a partnership project: they want a social transformation. A value that encourages us to commit themselves to the other individual and to the other as a society is companionship, so they are co-responsible in the co-construction of a better society. The fellowship helps overcome the exclusion that affects those who come to Our House to volunteer, as well as those who arrive to be residents.See more
