HISTORY
Côte d'Ivoire, a country with an agricultural vocation, has intervened as an economic operator in the sector of production and marketing of food products through the creation of state-owned companies such as SODEFEL , AGRIPAC and OCPA .
However, all efforts made by the state, economic operator, have failed.
The State thus gives itself the mission of creating the conditions favorable to the exercise of the activity of the marketing of the food products.
It is this new policy that led to the creation of the OCPV (Office of Assistance for the Marketing of Food Products) in 1984 to improve the environment for the marketing of food products in Côte d'Ivoire.
