The National Office of Vocational Training ( ONFP ) is a public institution of an industrial and commercial nature (EPIC) created by Law n ° 86-44 of August 11, 1986.
Thus, the ONFP's mission is to:
Help implement the government's sectoral objectives and assist public and private organizations in carrying out their work;
Carry out studies on employment, professional qualification, quantitative and qualitative means of initial and continuing vocational training;
Coordinate interventions by professional branch by priority action based on existing structures or to create;
Coordinate the professional training action of bilateral or multilateral aid agencies
Professional qualification is the most important lever for improving labor productivity, reducing the precariousness of employment and the strong positioning of vocational training in national issues.
The mandate assigned to the ONFP
Provide the worker or the jobseeker, in particular with a view to self-employment, wherever he is on the national territory, a qualification or a professional title that allows him, at the same time, to to hold a job or to perform a professional activity according to the required standards and to promote oneself.
