Omtrix specializes in the promotion and management of innovative undertakings to support inclusive financial systems and solutions for the elimination of social inequalities by means of financial and technical assistance to the financial inclusion industry. By virtue of their location in San Jose, Costa Rica, Omtrix has direct contact with clients and investors in Latin America and the Caribbean, which in turn, allows the Organization to be much updated about developments in this Region’s economic and social environment. In addition, Omtrix keeps a nimble operating structure that is complemented by an extensive network of expert consultants allowing them to quickly adapt to the ever-changing needs of the financial inclusion industry. One that grows fast and is in permanent evolution. Additionally, Omtrix performed a key role in the establishment and supervision of AfriCap Fund and MFX Solutions, and has worked for several members of the economic development community, such as: Inter-American Development Bank, Development Alternatives, Inc., for Department International Development (DFID) of the United Kingdom, Triodos Bank, State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) of Switzerland, the FMO, the Development Bank of the Caribbean (DBC), DOEN Foundation, ACTION International, KfW, Norfund, SIFEM/Obviam, the Luxemburg Microfinance and Development Fund and ADA of Luxembourg, among others. Omtrix presently manages several investment funds, a nongovernmental organization (NGO) and three technical facilities; all of them sharing the goal of consolidating the microfinance sector in general and the microfinancial institutions (MFIs) throughout the Region.
