Ong & Ong
About

Founding partners, the late Mr. Ong Teng Cheong and Mrs. Ong Siew May, established ONG&ONG in 1972. With a track record of over four decades, the firm has earned an unparalleled reputation for offering integrated solutions for the built environment. Their success lies in the high level of creativity, synergy and commitment they provide to their clients. They continually strive to uphold their mission to be the Designers of Our Age - transforming ordinary spaces into ones which shape experiences. With a staff strength of over 800, ONG&ONG is currently operating in 13 cities, across 11 countries in three continents.

Their philosophy begins with an insistence on meticulous attention to details, exhaustive planning, superior management and design excellence. Whilst they embrace these lofty goals, they never forget the fact that people are their most valuable asset - it is in working together as a team that they are able to see their philosophy to fruition; always striving to harness the individual spirit and talent to achieve their collective goals. At Ong & Ong, they believe that listening to their clients' needs is of paramount importance -they strive to create buildings that are intimately connected to form and function, never insisting on a predetermined design style. They measure the success of their works by their ability to marry their design philosophy with optimal solutions to their clients' brief whilst meeting all budget and schedule objectives. Their Mission Statement To be the designer of their age - a premier design practice both locally and in the region.

THEIR CULTURE

Their holistic 360 approach comes full circle, with their work extending beyond their doors. The spirit of philanthropy is a tradition deeply embedded in their culture at ONG&ONG. Education is a key component of ONG&ONG's philanthropic efforts, centering on the architectural community. They believe that the exchange and transfer of knowledge is elemental in grooming designers of tomorrow. ONG&ONG sponsors the BCA-Industry Built Environment Scholarship and the ONG&ONG Travelling Fellowship. ONG&ONG’s partnership with Nanyang Polytechnic’s School of Design empowers students to extend their designs beyond the classroom.

ONG Foundation champions philanthropic causes for the less fortunate in society. Our ‘Run with Your Heart’ campaign raises awareness and continues ONG&ONG’s strong CSR commitment. They are also dedicated to nurturing the talents of their staff through their very own corporate university, 360U. This translates into a comprehensive suite of real-world and on-the-job programmes and opportunities for every ONG&ONG staff.
