Operation ASHA’s mission is to expand access to services and products of a high quality at affordable prices among disadvantaged communities worldwide with a focus on delivery of health services. They do this by providing the last mile connectivity, i.e. health service delivery at the doorsteps of the under-served.
Right now Operation ASHA is bringing tuberculosis diagnosis, treatment and prevention to 5.48 million most disadvantaged individuals in India and Cambodia, in over 3,000 slums and villages. OpASHA has successfully treated over 32,000 TB patients since 2006. In India, Operation ASHA has 194 treatment centers in 17 cities of 8 eights covering 4.4 million population & in Cambodia it has 51 centers in 5 Operational Districts of 2 provinces covering 1.08 million population.
Operation ASHA aspires to replicate its model that delivers excellent results at a low cost across the world by forging collaborations with local NGO, donors and governments.
