Orion Consulting is a software and consultancy company based in the UK. They provide the software and services that companies require to manipulate data formats and to handle internal and external data communications between systems.

Orion Consulting Limited was formed in May 1998. They saw a need to provide a good quality consultancy service for companies involved in implementing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) or electronic commerce (EC). In both areas, differing definitions and the hype caused every time a new development or technique hits the marketplace cause confusion.

Orion will begin any project by discussing the business requirements with the potential customer. They firmly believe that technology exists to serve the business, not the other way round. From these discussions a solution can be suggested, whether it be a web-based EC solution or an integrated EDI solution, or a combination of the two.

Consultancy

Their consultancy team can provide installation, migration and training services for their product range. These services can be performed either onsite or remotely, according to the customers' wishes.

EDI Bureau

Their bureau service can provide every component of a data transfer and Translation service that a user does not wish to run themselves. A document in any format can be transformed according to the customers needs and send or received by the appropriate communications method on their behalf, all for a fixed monthly fee with no requirement for software installation or licensing issues.

Managed Services

Their managed services team can take complete control of your EDI or Data Exchange system on your behalf, handling all configuration, monitoring and data transformation issues. The system can either be installed on your site or hosted by theirselves.
