Ottawa Security Systems & Communications Ltd was established and incorporated in the Province of Ontario, Canada on 1st, December 1987. Their primary business focus is to offer highend and superior quality System Design, Project Management and Installation of Integrated Security Systems. These consist of Burglar Alarms, Integrated Card Acess Control, CCTV, HVAC point monitoring and Intercom Systems

In 1992 Ottawa Security acquired Systèmes de Sécurité JAJ, a Quebec registered company located at 259 Champlain Street Unit 001 Hull, QC. In 1999 Ottawa Security became a Master Distributor for EnterpriseSMS Access Control Systems (ESMS) which is deployed in many sensitive sites within Canada and the United States. Ottawa Security has 192 years of combined security experience to call upon.

In 2001 Ottawa Security successfully negotiated the purchase, from the Canadian Museum of Civilization, of a software product called Site-Secure. This is a security and facility management software that serves to complement their integrated systems. This software can manage guard forces, facility maintenance crews, parking control, contractor management, meeting room reservations, Visitor registration, threat risk assessment (TRA) etc and generate reports for management in minutes. It is installed in many Government departments and private companies within Canada and the United States.

Ottawa Security Systems & Communications Ltd. is a member of the Canadian Alarm and Security Association, Canadian Society of Industrial Security, the American Society for Industrial Security, licensed by the Régie du Bâtiment du Québec, and a member of Quebec bureau of sécurité privicee.

Ottawa Security continues to provide its many services to its numerous clients. Some of their reference sites are, Canadian Museum of History, DFATD, Transport Safety Board, The Senate of Canada, House of Commons, Privy Council Office, Natural Resources Canada, Department of National Defence, Agriculture Canada and Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
