Raising money for uniforms, equipment, travel, supplies, and other needs can be a tedious and daunting task, to say the least. After years of countless fundraising projects of our own (selling donuts, washing cars, peddling coupon books, etc.), we decided there had to be a better way. No parent likes having to send their kids door to door to push these unwanted products. But what else could we do? Then, the idea of OurFund was born.
OurFund is a simple concept that involves no selling. Better yet, OurFund doesn’t require you to keep track of inventory, collect money, or meet quotas. And most importantly, we don’t take 50-75% percent of your proceeds. Most product-based fundraisers are in business to increase their bottom line, not yours! But we wanted to be different.
The idea behind OurFund is simple; let your friends, neighbors, and loved ones know about the need in your child’s organization and ask them to donate. We believe these people are the ones with a vested interest in the growth and success of your children, and many are all too happy to contribute.
