PanAfrican Energy Tanzania’s mission is to explore, develop and produce natural gas as a safe, clean, reliable and cost efficient fuel for use in power generation, industrial applications, transportation and secondary markets.

 

The company and specifically its Board of Directors and management team has a primary and continuous commitment to protect the environment it operates in, as well as the health, safety and security of its employees and all personnel involved in or touched by its activities in any way.

This is achieved through the active implementation and continual monitoring of its Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy, which sets specifics standard and targets which are mandatory and applicable to all its operating locations and activities. Full details are contained in company Safety and Environmental Management System (SEMS). Every employee and contractor has a responsibility to familiarize themselves with the policies and procedures contained therein.

The Board regularly reviews HSE activities and ensures that targets for continuous improvement are maintained.
