PCC Rokita SA, a company with over sixty years of tradition, is one of the leading chemical companies in Poland and the biggest in Lower Silesia.
It is owned by a German company PCC SE (seated in Duisburg), which operates on international markets of chemical raw materials, transport, energy, coal, coke, fuels, plastics and metallurgy.
During those 60 years of effective operations, PCC Rokita SA has proved to be a reliable manufacturer and distributor of 250 products successfully used by other trades such as manufacturers of plastics, cosmetics, domestic and industrial detergents, construction materials and textiles.
The Company’s policy is aimed at meeting clients' needs regarding the highest quality of products, professional customer service and flexible pricing policy. By implementing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environment Management System as well as participating in the Responsible Care Programme, the Company has agreed to comply with restrictive standards that oblige it to continue to improve in all fields of its activity.
The Company has for many years actively participated in the local social life, in charity campaigns, has provided finance and materials to the health care system, educational system as well as for cultural and sports events.
In January 2005 the Wołów Poviat Starosty gave the Company the Crystal 2005 award for its charitable activity as part of the PCC Rokita Group Sponsoring Fund.
In October 2006 the Western Chamber of Commerce gave the Company the Lower Silesia Griffin 2006, a prestigious business award for the best companies in Lower Silesia. The Company was the winner in the following category: for outstanding achievements in actions taken for the benefit of the Lower Silesia economy.
Their activity was also recognised by Puls Biznesu, which in November 2007 awarded us the honourable title of the Pillar of the Polish Economy, at the same time considering them the best company in Lower Silesia.
In November 2009 PCC Rokita SA was the winner of the 1st SITPChem President RESTRUCTURING LEADER Award. The Restructuring Leader Award in the "chemical company" category was awarded to PCC Rokita SA in Brzeg Dolny for its courage and effectiveness in raising product quality, new investments and ability to quickly respond to market requirements, as well as effective cooperation with research institutions.
