Phillip R. Peak
Phillip has been a practicing attorney since October, 2009. Growing up in Collinsville, Oklahoma, Mr. Peak has spent a majority of his life in Green Country. He graduated from Collinsville High School and attended Baldwin-Wallace College (now Baldwin-Wallace University) in Berea, Ohio, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He attended the University of Tulsa College of Law, graduating in May, 2009, where he received the CALI Award for Excellence in Legislation.
During law school, Phillip was a licensed legal intern at the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office and he was later offered a position as an Assistant District Attorney. He began in the juvenile bureau, prosecuting delinquent and deprived cases, then advanced to the Felony Division, prosecuting general felonies and major crimes. He tried 25 cases to verdict, amassing a 90 percent conviction rate.
Mr. Peak left the District Attorney’s office in 2014 and entered private practice. He is a sole practitioner focusing his practice primarily in the areas of criminal defense, family law, and general civil litigation. Mr. Peak is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the American Bar Association and is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma, the Eastern District of Oklahoma, and the Western District of Oklahoma.
When Phillip is not working, he likes to spend time with his family and two children.
