The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State or PSU) is a public, state-related research university with campuses and facilities throughout Pennsylvania. Founded in 1855, the university has a stated threefold mission of teaching, research, and public service. Its instructional mission includes undergraduate, graduate, professional and continuing education offered through resident instruction and online delivery. Its University Park campus, the flagship campus, lies within the Borough of State College and College Township. It has two law schools, Penn State Law, on the school's University Park campus, and Dickinson Law, located in Carlisle. The College of Medicine is located in Hershey. Penn State has another 19 commonwealth campuses and 5 special-mission campuses located across the state.

Global: University Office of Global Programs (UOGP)
UOGP provides support and oversight for all of Penn State's international engagements. Our office oversees education abroad programs; facilitates the hosting of international students, scholars, and international visitors; and collaborate with academic units and faculty to cultivate and build strategic partnerships and collaborations around the world.
The mission of UOGP is to vigorously support the actualization of Penn State's vision of global citizenship for all our students and global leadership for the University in scholarship and international engagement, both of which constitute the foundation for building the Global Penn State. UOGP encourages and supports all members of the Penn State community in their pursuit of global perspectives in their work, studies, and activities. Therefore, we offer a comprehensive range of international and intercultural educational opportunities for University students, staff, faculty, and alumni alike.
