Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, non-stock corporate foundation of the Shell Group of Companies in the Philippines with mission to enable the underprivileged sector of the country become productive and economically self-reliant members of society.
We have 28 years of experience in managing social development programs of national and local scales ranging from leadership enhancement and attitude development; technical and vocational skills development, and employment; health, sanitation, and safety; livelihood and entrepreneurship development; educational improvement; and, environmental stewardship.
Established in August 1982 as the social arm of the Shell companies in the Philippines (SciP), we are a pioneer in pursuing best practice projects that respond to the needs of Shell worksites and host communities. Our programs are designed to respond to the needs of the times and play an active role in nation-building. Today, in addition to the programs of SciP, we also implement sustainable development programs of the Malampaya Joint Venture Partners, Quezon Power Limited, Mirant Philippines Foundation, and the Movement Against Malaria Program which is funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.
