PKF Eastern Africa is headquartered in Kenya with offices in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru. The firm also has offices in Kampala Uganda and Dar-es-salaam Tanzania, Kigali, Rwanda and associated offices in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

SERVICES

 

Audit and Assurance

All audits are carried out as per the firm's Audit Procedures Manual, which is based on International Standards on Auditing. Our audit approach is principally risk-based, and focuses on obtaining an understanding of the scope of the assignment, and developing an audit strategy to achieve the set audit objectives. The firm has also developed industry specific manuals for industries such as banking and insurance that are subject to specific requirements. Partners and staff involved in industry specific audits are required to undergo regular training to ensure that they are conversant with the operations of, and the risks attached to, these industries and the legislation and regulations governing these industries.

Effective quality control is an essential to offering services of an international standard in each local office.  PKF’s International Standards Committee oversees the standards of our global audit and advisory services.  Independent reviews ensure that member firms are adhering to the professional standards set by PKF International, enabling us to assure our clients that we are constantly striving to raise our own high standards.

PKF Eastern Africa is also able to conduct internal audits, the product ranges from complete outsourcing arrangements to setting up an internal audit function.  We are able to provide clients with assurance that the right systems and controls are in place, assets are safeguarded, funds properly used and compliance with legislation. Internal audit procedures are tailored to each client’s requirements as well as industry specific needs.

 

 

Taxation Advisory

Our tax team has a reputation for creative solutions tailored individually to meet your needs. The range of services provided includes:

Advising on tax planning, both at national and international levels;

Acting as tax agents for submission of tax returns, as well as attending to routine queries from tax authorities;
