PKP Linie Hutnicza Szerokotorowa spółka z oo with its seat in Zamość started operating activities in the field of management of the railway line No. 65 and the provision of goods transport on it on July 1, 2001 pursuant to:

1. Founding Notarial Deed - Company Deed drawn up in Warsaw on December 1, 2000.
2. Entry in the National Court Register of November 20, 2001, currently kept by the Lublin East District Court with its seat in Świdnik, VI Commercial Division of the National Court Register
3. Concession for the management of railway lines - railway line No. 65, issued by the Minister of Transport and Maritime Economy on June 29, 2001.
4. Concession for the provision of rail freight services on the railway line No. 65, issued by the Minister of Transport and Economy on May 12, 2001.

Then, pursuant to the Act on Rail Transport of March 28, 2003, there was an obligation for rail carriers to obtain a license for rail freight and passenger transport, and an obligation for infrastructure managers to have safety certificates, and currently a safety certificate and safety authorization. The company fulfilled these obligations by obtaining:

1. Transport license issued by the President of the Office of Rail Transport on February 27, 2004 for an indefinite period;
2. Safety authorization for the railway infrastructure manager issued by the President of the Office of Rail Transport on June 27, 2016, valid until December 31, 2020.
3. Safety certificate (Part A) for a railway carrier issued by the President of the Office of Rail Transport on June 27, 2016, valid until December 31, 2020.
4. Safety certificate (Part B) for a railway carrier issued by the President of the Office of Rail Transport on December 22, 2015, valid until December 31, 2020.
5. The entity in charge of maintenance (ECM) certificate issued by the President of the Office of Rail Transport on October 8, 2018, valid until October 9, 2023.
6. License for the provision of rail transport services in the European Union and the European Economic Area, issued by the President of the Office of Rail Transport on July 29, 2015, for an indefinite period.

The company operates pursuant to the provisions of the Commercial Companies Code and the Company's Founding Deed. The company's operations are also regulated by the Act on commercialization, restructuring and privatization of the state-owned enterprise "Polskie Koleje Państwowe" of September 8, 2000.
