The POLITY Foundation is a non-governmental, non-commercial research and political consulting organisation founded in 1993. The Foundation was established to unite and co-ordinate the work of politicians, academics and businessmen in assisting the process of political and economic reforms in Russia, creation of a civil society and a law-based state.

The priority areas of the Foundation’s activities are:

• fundamental and applied research on foreign and domestic affairs;
• policy recommendations to executive and legislative bodies at all levels;
• political consulting in election campaigns at federal and regional levels;
• expertise of the bills, normative and other documents for the Presidential Administration, Federal and regional legislative bodies and other government institutions;
• consultative, information and management services;
• PR projects for public, political and commercial organisations and institutions.

The Foundation cooperates with public research and higher education institutions (institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Lomonosov Moscow State University.), Independent research centers (the Fund "Public opinion", the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center, Service study Vox Populi public opinion and other).

The Foundation collaborates  with leading media, major Russian news agencies.

The Foundation has the experience of participation  in international projects in collaboration with research centers and universities in the CIS countries, Europe, America and Asia.

The Fund is one of the founders of the Center for Political Technologies, Association of centers of political consultation, parliamentary programs of the Center, the Foundation "Russian Public Policy Center", "Indem" Foundation, the regional programs.
