Poseidon is a company of fisheries consultants, specialising in the development of sustainable fisheries and aquaculture. Poseidon staff have many years of fishing industry, research, NGO, and consultancy experience. Our work focuses on the world’s seas and coasts, together with freshwater lakes and rivers, and covers both capture fisheries and aquaculture.

The company works globally providing advice on the production, management, processing and marketing/trade of fisheries and aquaculture products, as well as on marine environmental issues. Our clients include international and bilateral donor agencies, national and local governments, the private sector, and NGOs.

Poseidon has completed projects in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Pacific, Africa, and the Americas, ranging from short term work on specific issues, to large longer-term multi-disciplinary projects.
