PRIME CONSTRUCTION & TRADING COMPANY LTD
Prime Construction & Trading Co. Ltd has been established in Vietnam since 1997 with its aim to bring together the international standard of design, project management and construction expertise together with the Vietnamese local know-how to provide construction projects that require high international standards at a competitive price throughout Vietnam and the region.
With its Vietnamese name of “Tien Phong”, meaning ‘pioneer’, for the past 19 years, Prime has pioneered in applying quality Western standards, techniques and practices to the construction industry in Vietnam. Prime combines these innovations with the cost efficiency of a Vietnamese company and the professional dedication of best international practice.
Prime is majority owned and managed by Dr. Long D. Ngo, BE Hons PhD (Auckland, New Zealand), MIPENZ, Registered Engineer. Originally from Hanoi, Vietnam, Dr. Ngo went to New Zealand in 1970 to study under a New Zealand Government Colombo Plan Scholarship. He graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (First Class Honors) in 1974 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering in 1978. He then worked in New Zealand for 15 years, 7 as a Director of Tse Group Ltd., Architects & Engineers, before returning to Vietnam in 1993 to set up the first New Zealand professional consulting office under the banner of Duffill Watts & Tse Ltd.
In December 1996, Dr. Ngo resigned from Duffill Watts & Tse to fully focus on managing and developing his newly found company - Prime Construction. His experience over many years in the construction industry has gained him valuable contracts for Prime, especially within the foreign diplomatic sectors. Prime has now worked with the Australian Consulate General, the Royal Netherlands Consulate General, the United States Consulate General, the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary, the British Embassy, the British Consulate General, the New Zealand Consulate General, the Royal Belgian Consulate General, the British Council, the Population Council and other foreign diplomatic organizations in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
With over 19 years of history in Vietnam, Prime has excelled at its best the capability to handle projects with complexity and has worked with a wide range of clients on projects in diverse fields such as Offices, Commercial Buildings, Diplomatic Missions, Retail Shopping Centre, Residential, Hotels & Resorts and Re-creational Complex. Through its current presence of:
