History

The National Program for Technological Development and Innovation - ProInnóvate of the Ministry of Production was created on March 25, 2021, by Supreme Decree No. 009-2021-PRODUCE and on the basis of the National Innovation Program for Competitiveness and Productivity - Innóvate Peru.

ProInnóvate manages and grants co-financing funds for innovation and entrepreneurship projects to companies from all sectors and levels, innovative entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship support entities, producer associations and business associations, public sector entities and academic entities.

It has as objectives:

• Promote innovation and technological and productive development in the country.
• Promote, increase and consolidate innovation, technological development, productive development and entrepreneurship in the country, which implies, without limitation, innovation in production processes, innovative entrepreneurship and capacity building in business innovation, transfer, technology absorption, adaptation and diffusion towards companies.
• Contribute to the growth of the competitiveness and productivity of companies and sectors for the growth of the economy, social welfare, protection of the environment and sustainable development.

Mission

Promote and encourage innovation to increase the productivity of companies within the framework of the national policy of Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (CTI).

Vision

Being a leading strategic partner of companies and other actors in the CTI system in the country, as well as a benchmark in the region to promote the transformation of the Peruvian economy through innovation.
