Prospect Consulting & Services s.a. was founded in 1994 by agronomists to provide consulting services in the field of rural development. Since then the company has diversified and now works across a range of environment and development sectors.
Our aim as a company is to provide high-quality consultancy or services that contribute towards sustainable development. As such, Prospect works with a variety of clients from international agencies and the EU institutions to national government departments, companies, NGOs and academics.
The history of the company is linked to its involvement into environmental assignments in the EU-15 and in other European countries, mainly EU candidate and accession countries, contributing therefore to the efforts needed in relation to the EU enlargement process. Environment consulting, whether it is biodiversity or waste management related, remains a cornerstone of the company’s activities.
In parallel, we have been worked with the Belgian development co-operation agency (BTC-CTB), the African Bank of Development (ABD) and EuropeAid to implement studies and evaluations dealing with rural development . We also work on the accompanying field of good governance , particularly in administrative decentralization processes. While in the last few years the Company has begun offering services and products in the intelligent energy sector.
In delivering projects in these sectors Prospect has built-up a skills and capacities to offer management services to clients. This includes co-ordination of multi-national projects, project cycle management, organisational development and capacity building.
Prospect has a multi-national and interdisciplinary staff (including experts in agronomy, rural development, nature conservation, civil society, capacity building and organisational development); all with a broad range of experience.
