PT Nindya Karya (Persero) is a construction BUMN company that runs a business in the field of Construction Services, Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) and Investment. PT Nindya Karya (Persero) was originally a nationalized company from the Netherlands called NV Nederlands Aannemings Maastchappy (NEDAM) v / h Fa.H. Boersma was founded in 1877. Along with the Liberation of West Irian and the issuance of Government Regulation Number 23 of 1958, all remaining Dutch companies in the Indonesian territory were nationalized to become state-owned companies. The nationalization of NEDAM to become an Indonesian company was carried out based on Government Regulation Number 59 of 1961, which was later renamed the State Company (PN) Nindya Karya.

With the issuance of Government Regulation No. 12 of 1969 concerning changes in State Enterprises to Limited Liability Companies, then through PP No. 11/1972 and Kepmenkeu No. 91 / MK / IV / 3/1973 and Kartini Moeljadi SH notarial deed No. 76 dated March 15, 1973 PN Nindya Karya changed its status to Limited Liability Company (PT) with the same name. The name of PT Nindya Karya (Persero) was then maintained until now.

At the end of December 2008, PT Nindya Karya (Persero) invested in the participation of shares in PT Jasamarga Kunciran Cengkareng (JKC), a company engaged in the operation of Kunciran - Cengkareng Toll Road, which includes funding, engineering planning, construction, operation and maintenance of toll roads and other businesses in accordance with the Deed of Establishment No. 7 dated May 14, 2008 which was amended by the Amendment Deed of Articles of Association of PT Marga Kunciran Cengkareng No. 6 dated December 23, 2008, both of which were made before Suzy Anggraini Muharam, SH.

In 2012 along with the issuance of PP No. 69 of 2012, PT Nindya Karya (Persero) committed to improve its image and improve the company's performance through "NINDYA Reborn" to become a smart company based on knowledge and technology. This is done by restructuring the company as a whole both changes in the company logo, vision, mission, basic values, culture, financial sector, organization, human resources and the Company's system. This commitment is built with high enthusiasm to focus on customers and a strong desire to produce quality products.

In early 2013, PT Nindya Karya (Persero) established a subsidiary of PT Nindya Beton in the context of developing the company's business in the field of precast concrete based on Deed No. 33 dated February 19, 2013. PT Nindya Beton is a company engaged in Prefabricated, Readymix Concrete Manufacturing and Manufacturing and other related businesses. With the establishment of PT Nindya Beton, it is expected to increase the added value and competitiveness of the Company, and be able to support concrete needs in the PT Nindya Karya (Persero) projects.

In the middle of 2017, PT Nindya Karya (Persero) began to spread its wings in the hospitality tourism investment sector. Precisely on July 31, 2017 the Property Division of PT Nindya Karya (Persero) successfully carried out the Project Launching Pembangungan Hotel Horison Nindya in Semarang. The development of the hospitality business is an investment in utilizing the company's fixed assets in order to improve the company's performance, especially the Property Division.
