PICREADI — Public Initiative "Creative Diplomacy" — is a Moscow-based non-governmental organization founded in 2010 by a group of new generation experts committed to develop and support civil initiatives in public diplomacy and foreign affairs.
PICREADI is one of the leading Russian organizations on public diplomacy. In 2017, it was mentioned among five important Russian soft power agencies in a study commissioned by the British Council from the University of Edinburgh.
PICREADI positions itself between academic research center and grass-roots organization in the field of Russia's public diplomacy system. They raise awareness about challenges and opportunities for our country's public diplomacy and do their best to make it better.
Additionally, PICREADI is an intellectual platform promoting annual face-to-face debates among prominent experts and emerging voices in Russian foreign policy community. They also teach public diplomacy and organize training programs.
PICREADI is fully independent in their research and related activities. Devoted to the Russian national interests and to the idea that Russian voice should be heard, they support diversity of opinions and dialogue. In times of mutual distrust and fake relations, PICREADI seeks to serve as a link between people, societies and states. They are also committed to gender equality in public diplomacy as one of their core values.
