PPC is the leading power generation and supply company in Greece engaged in the generation, distribution and sale of electricity to consumers.\

Its total installed capacity in Greece is 12.2 GW, with thermal and hydroelectric power plants as well as Renewable Energy Sources (RES) installations both on the mainland and the islands. It is the owner of the power distribution network with Regulated Asset Base of approximately € 3bn, which is operated by its subsidiary company HEDNO S.A. Moreover, it is the largest power supplier with approximately 6.9 million customers all over the country.

Decarbonisation through acceleration of lignite units’ withdrawal and promotion of investments in RES is a key priority for PPC, in order that the Group can play a leading role in RES development. In parallel, PPC is pursuing digital transformation of the Group.

PPC was established in 1950 and has been listed on the Athens Stock Exchange since 2001.

Ιn 2018, the turnover of PPC Group amounted to € 4.7 bn and its total assets to € 14.1 bn; moreover PPC Group employs about 16,750 people.
