Pyramid Pharma has shown rapid growth since its inception and currently represents internationally renowned companies in medical & laboratory equipment, reagents and medical supplies.

In 2001, Pyramid Pharma was founded as a pharmaceutical company with the goal of becoming the preferred partner in the provision of healthcare solutions in Africa, starting with Tanzania. They invested in the best systems and people to ensure that quality products are delivered and superior service is offered.

In 2008 Pyramid Pharma expanded to include two new divisions namely Diagnostics and Medical & Surgical. These divisions represent internationally renowned companies in the field of medical equipment, laboratory equipment, reagents and medical supplies. In addition, a specific department was started to provide service and maintenance of medical and laboratory equipment.

As confirmation of their quest to continually improve and grow, in April 2013, Pyramid Pharma Tanzania attained ISO 9001:2008 certification whose standards represent an international consensus on good quality management practices.

With vast experience attained over the years in the industry, the close of 2013 saw us expanding their footprint to other parts of Africa – Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Ethiopia and Mozambique.
