Red Sea Wind Energy S.A.E. (RSWE) is a company created in 2020 for the construction, commissioning and operation of a greenfield wind farm of 500 MW.

The wind farm will comprise 173 wind turbines and a 33/220 kV substation and will be erected near the Gulf of Suez, 40 km northwest of the city of Ras Ghareb. The project will occupy an area of approximately 70 km². Thanks to favorable winds at site, the wind farm is expected to reach a net capacity factor of 49%.
