Our main target is to value and to preserve Somali traditional human-created wisdom (literature, indigenous science, traditional games, language and all other forms of art of human expression) in the form of the written word. Somalis are traditionally an oral society, and their culture is profoundly animated by the spoken word, and the highest art of Somali Culture is poetry, which is a literary form produced for performance.  Their aim They aim to assist the development and availability of literacy and IT in Somaliland as a fundamental objective. In line with this aim, they support local libraries, educational institutions and books shops in Somaliland by publishing books and distributing to these libraries. Redsea-Online strives to promote access to the libraries among the civil societies and encourages the setting up of library facilities in schools, higher education’s institutions, local governments and any other institutions.  Mission statement: They are focused on promoting the culture of creative writing and reading; publishing quality books and magazines for Somali speaking people and to facilitate and help Somaliland youth organisations, readers clubs and youth in general to integrate among themselves, to promote literature to young people and to the wider society.
