Reforma is a national newspaper published by Grupo Reforma. It was founded in 1993 as a branch of the Monterrey newspaper El Norte. Grupo Reforma is 90 years old. It began with the founding of the newspaper El Sol in April 1922, followed by El Norte in 1938, the newspaper Metro, Monterrey, in 1988, and Reforma in 1993. Four years later, in 1997 was created the newspaper of Saltillo Palabra, The Metro in Mexico City, and Mural in Guadalajara, a year later. In 2004 established The Metro Saltillo, and in 2005, Metro Guadalajara. In 2007 and 2008 were established Metro in Mexico State and Puebla.
