Formerly Entreprise Publiquez, created by ordinance n ° 66-460 of August 25, 1966, the Water Distribution Board of the Democratic Republic of Congo was first transformed by Article 4 of Law No. 8 / 007 of July 07, 2008 and by the decree n ° 9/12 of April 24, 2009 in Joint Stock Company with Limited Liability (SARL). Since September 4, 2014, it has been transformed into a commercial company with the form of Société Anonyme (REGIDESO SA) having until then as sole shareholder the Congolese State. The registered office of REGIDESO SA is located on the boulevard of June 30, No. 59-63, in the commune of Gombe, in Kinshasa. Its field of action is the urban environment and the semi-urban environment.
The purpose of REGIDESO SA is to:
Production, distribution and marketing of drinking water; The study and execution of works for the construction of drinking water production and distribution works; Any other industrial, commercial, financial, securities or real estate transactions directly or indirectly related to the corporate purpose or likely to facilitate the expansion or development of the Company.
