Created by Royal Decree in 1966, the Regional Office of Agricultural Development of Tafilalet (ORMVA / TF) is a public body endowed with the civil personality and the financial autonomy and placed under the tutelage of the Ministry of Agriculture and of Maritime Fishing. The ORMVA / TF is administered by a Board of Directors chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries. Its headquarters are in Errachidia. 

The missions of the ORMVA / TF are: 

- It is authorized to promote or to continue in its zone of action, works of regrouping, equipment of the irrigation network and drainage and, in general, the improvements aimed at improving agricultural productivity.
