Rénatura is an association founded in France in May 2001. A relay was created in Congo Brazzaville in October 2005 under the name Rénatura Congo.

The main program of Rénatura focuses on the conservation of marine turtles, endangered species. This program is divided into two distinct and complementary components, whose influence extends over the entire Congolese coastline, excluding the Conkouati-Douli National Park:
The study and protection of marine turtles, which is divided into three activities: the exhaustive study of laying on three 10-km sites; the estimated study of two spawning sites 10 to 16 km long; and the monitoring and release of incidental captures of sea turtles in artisanal fishing nets
