Resindo works closely with some of the region’s leading process design houses for minerals process plant and related infrastructure development for coal, nickel, gold and other minerals, coal preparation plants and power generation.

This also includes on a non-conflict of interest basis, the local support of specialist overseas manufacturers for projects; Gas, Coal  & Hydropower turbine generators and related specialised services, which are combined with our local integration & balance of plant capabilities.

Coal Mine Development

Resindo is able to undertake the Concept Development tailored to the Project & targeted to achieve the most viable economic development in line with Client requirements.

This is followed by the complete engineering design & optionally development of the Coal Mine & Export Infrastructure.

In many instances the requirement is for “Fast Start” projects to develop initial production capabilities with minimal infrastructure to generate cashflows, whilst larger expanded facilities are under construction or phased in later.

 

Minerals Development

Resindo does not undertake process design but works with leading specialist consultants from the region for particular technologies.

Resindo then provides the Balance of Plant engineering services in country with typical workscope including;

Balance of Plant required for the process plant; crushing, conveying, waste, water and cooling systems, etc.

Wash Plant Services

The balance of Plant services are undertaken in-house; crushing, materials handling, procurement, fabrication & Site Construction Supervision.

• Cost Effective Plants, Equipment designed for a broad an ore input basis as practical
• Optionally Financed, operated & provided on a throughput tariff tolling basis to the Mine
• Owner or Mining Contractor as the case may be.

 

Mobile Barge-Loading

Cost effective & flexible solution for commencing, expanding or complementing existing marine based load out facilities for barge transport.

• Rapid start-up of export operations for early cashflow.
• Overcoming capital constraints of fixed, permanent infrastructure.
• Smaller reserve mines where permanent facilities are not economic, or changing pit distances do not   warrant fixed facilities due to changes in haul distance.

 

Power Generation

Resindo personnel have extensive experience working with Power Plant manufacturers  to form an integrated team for the development of balance of plant services for Projects.

• Experience ranges from Coal Fired, Gas Fired  and Hydro Power solutions through to Diesel Generators. Services include:
• Balance of Plant (Coal handling, Cooling Towers, Earthworks & Concrete, Structures, Gas Conditioning  & Metering Stations, Pipework, Local Procurement)

• Mine site investigation; confirmation of production facilities capabilities, current & planned
• Monitoring of stockpile volumes on-site and ready to ship status to meet vessel timing.
