The RMCG story started in Bendigo in 1989 with Rob Rendell and Nigel McGuckian. The initial focus was on helping farmers build sustainable businesses. They still retain that strong connection with individual farmers. It gives them a real understanding of what government policies mean in practice.
RMCG has now grown to cover the full range of issues that drive sustainable outcomes in the management of water and other natural resources. They have over forty professional staff working from offices in Bendigo and Camberwell, with smaller local offices in Torquay, Warragul and Penguin, Tasmania.
Up until recently, the business operated as a partnership. In response to business growth, the Principals have now incorporated the business to provide it with a solid platform for the future. The newly incorporated entity provides RMCG with a strong corporate governance framework, which is appropriate for the size and nature of the business.
