This commitment is clearly showcased in our corporate headquarters in Canberra. We believe that Rudds are the first Consulting Engineering firm in Canberra, and one of the first in Australia, to design, build and tenant their own energy efficient building; standing behind our designs and commitment to the environment.

Rudds recognise that as a consulting company, maintaining good relationships with utilities, regulatory bodies, product suppliers and clients is vital to the provision of a high level of service.

The high work ethic at Rudds has migrated down from our principles to all of our staff and helps build rapport with clients. A large proportion of the projects at Rudds are based on repeat business from existing clients who were impressed with their previous projects.

The Canberra based company has origins dating back to the early sixties as D Rudd and Partners Pty Ltd.  In 2002, Lou Forner and Andrew Beattie, employees of D Rudd and Partners, purchased the company and Rudds Consulting Engineers was born. Lou and Andrew took control with 12 staff, but today the company employs over 40 people in the ACT and VIC.
