Russian LGBT Network

First of all, the Russian LGBT Network is people and organizations that work together in the field of human rights observance in relation to LGBTIQ + (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex people). The Russian LGBT Network is the largest interregional LGBTIQ organization in Russia, with branches in many regions of Russia. They provide free legal and psychological advice to LGBT people, as well as provide activists with advice on organizational issues, provide legal assistancein courts on cases of hate crimes, discrimination, freedom of assembly and illegal detention of LGBT activists, they provide emergency assistance, prepare reports and analytical notes on the situation of LGBTIQ people in Russia. The network was founded in April 2006. In October 2008, the All-Russian conference of civil organizations in support of the LGBT movement was held in Moscow. At the conference, the Network was transformed into an interregional social movement. The Charter and  Strategy of the  Movement were adopted , the governing bodies were elected.
