RE GmbH and RWE Technology GmbH will merge to become RWE Technology International GmbH (RWE TI) in mid-2015, with its headquarters in Essen. In this way, all services that relate to engineering, project management, and consulting will be bundled under one umbrella. RE GmbH, as of 1st May, assumes the new company name.
RWE TI’s engineers and technicians bring in all their experience. The company’s portfoliois the perfect mix of the engineering skills of RWE Technology, the consulting experience of RE GmbH, formerly Rheinbraun Engineering, and the operation experience of RWE npower. In this way, the company has a proud history of innovation.
RWE Technology International offers its customers expertise and know-how in various fields. The experts specialise in areas such as consulting on maintenance and retrofitting measures, support during tendering procedures and supervision of structural implementation on the construction site. The team of specialists in nuclear technology provide services to improve the safety of nuclear power plants. In the mining sector, RWE TI primarily supports customers wherever operational experience in open-pit mining is called for.
RWE Technology International provides extensive experience in project management and engineering that encompasses a wide range of power plant projects – from large new construction or retrofitting projects through to assignments on a smaller scale. Besides expertise in traditional engineering disciplines, such projects also require services in the areas of quality, work safety and environment. RWE Technology’s management systems are certified according to DIN ISO 9001 (Quality) and DIN ISO 14001 (Environment). The company has been commended with several esteemed awards for work safety management, such as the safety award presented by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
