About

Yayasan Sahabat Cipta (YSC), or in English, Sahabat Cipta Foundation (SCF) is a national foundation under the Indonesian law, founded in 2007 by two professional staff of Swisscontact, namely Waty R. Suhadi and Peter Bissegger.

In its initial years of establishment, Sahabat Cipta were supported by its mother organization, Swisscontact, in terms of office space, administration and financial works. The year 2014 marked the foundation’s fully independent period, when organization moves to its own office in Mampang Prapatan, after two years process of detachment.

Now Sahabat Cipta fully operates on its own.

Our mission is to empower communities with new skills and opportunities so they become self-reliant.
