A brand born in 2014, Saham Assurance is a leader in insurance with a presence in more than 20 countries in Africa and the Middle East.
This large and multicultural presence is the culmination of a policy of targeted acquisitions by the Saham Group of leading insurance companies in Africa and the Middle East:

  • Acquisition of CNIA Assurance (Morocco, 2005)
  • Acquisition of Assurances Es Saada (Morocco, 2006)
  • Merger of CNIA and Es-Saada, which form CNIA Saada Assurance (Morocco, 2009)
  • Acquisition of the Colina Group (13 countries in Africa, 2010)
  • Acquisition of Global Alliance Seguros Angola (Angola, 2012)
  • Acquisition of Lia Insurance (Lebanon, 2012)
  • Acquisition of Mercantile Insurance (Kenya, 2013)

The Insurance business of the Saham Group has grown steadily in Africa and the Middle East for two decades. Today, this pole weighs more than 1 billion dollars in turnover (USD, 2015).
