The Sahelian Industrial Society of Mechanics, Agricultural Materials and Representations (SISMAR) has taken over from SISCOMA specialized in Agricultural Equipment and the design-manufacture of the whole range of post-harvest equipment since the years 1964.

Since 1981, SISMAR has continued the activities of SISCOMA and diversified its activities in several fields of mechanics and metal construction:

• Boilermaking
• Construction, maintenance and upkeep of metal structures
• Industrial piping: factory prefabrication and assembly on site
• Design, manufacture and assembly of metal frames
• General mechanical work
• Anti-corrosion treatment of various assemblies (sanding and painting)
• Design and production of metal water towers from 5 to 60 m 3
• Agricultural and post-harvest equipment
• School furniture
• Manufacture of calibrated tanks for hydraulics and fuel
