Our mission is to improve the health – considered as a physical, mental, social and moral balance – of children, adolescents and mothers in Quebec, in collaboration with our partners in the health system and those in the education and of research.
The CHU Sainte-Justine intends to fully assume each of the six mandates arising from its university mission:
The values of the CHU Sainte-Justine that are presented to you come from the vision of patients, their loved ones and that of the people who work there.
They are the result of discussion groups conducted with patients and their families in order to identify their ideal hospital in the Sainte-Justine project in the future and of a similar exploration of their ideal with people who work at the CHUSJ through focus groups held with physicians, professionals, support staff and executives.
Finally, they agree with the positioning of the pediatric department with regard to humanization and care partnership.
Together and on a daily basis, we want to carry and bring to life these values which represent us and which define the CHU Sainte-Justine.
The CHU Sainte-Justine is the only health establishment dedicated exclusively to children, adolescents and mothers in Quebec.
Our health professionals provide care and offer separate services in two centers located in Montreal: the CHU Sainte-Justine on Côte-Sainte-Catherine Road and the Marie Enfant Rehabilitation Center (CRME), on Bélanger Street East. .
