Salini Impregilo is an industrial group specialising in the construction of large, complex projects, capable of competing with leading international players. The Group was formed by the integration of two organisations, both with a wealth of experience: Salini and Impregilo. Operating in over 50 countries with around 34,000 employees and a turnover of more than € 4 billion, the Group is a global player in the construction sector, and a world leader for infrastructure projects in the water segment. Sectors and Activities
For over 100 years, the Group has been operating in a wide range of sectors, including dams and hydroelectric plants, hydraulic works, railways and metro systems, airports and motorways and civil and industrial buildings. The Group currently has a presence on 5 continents with a backlog of more than € 32 billion1 across a diverse range of sectors and geographies. During the course of 2013, Salini Impregilo won contracts in Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Georgia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Libya, Namibia, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Turkey, Ukraine and the USA.
